Good to know
Not at all. The profile is calibrated entirely to you — it's just as valuable for a motivated club runner as for a national-level athlete. It simply meets you where you are and shows you the fastest way forward.
You'll do a structured, progressive test effort with a small finger/earlobe blood-lactate sample taken at each stage, plus a short series of jumps on the VALD force plates. Expect to be with us around 60–90 minutes.
It's built around running, but the underlying metabolic model applies to cycling and triathlon too. If you're an endurance athlete, the numbers are relevant to you — just ask us about sport-specific testing.
Every 10–12 weeks is ideal. That lets you confirm your training is working — that VO₂max and threshold are climbing while your endurance efficiency holds — and refresh your zones as you improve.
