Common questions

Before you book.

Do I need a GP or NHS referral?
No — you can self-refer to any of our rehabilitation programmes. We ask about your history and diagnosis so we can screen your suitability and liaise with your GP, consultant or oncology team where appropriate. Cancer rehabilitation requires medical clearance where appropriate.
How much does a rehabilitation programme cost?
Every pathway starts with a £95 clinical assessment. Complete programmes are £750 (cardiac), £700 (pulmonary), £800 (Long COVID), £750 (cancer) and £650 (post-viral / ME/CFS). Individual supervised sessions are £55 and remote/hybrid sessions £45. You can spread the cost with Pay It Monthly.
Who delivers the programmes?
Programmes are delivered by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (AHCS registration pending) with exercise-prescription experience across a range of clinical conditions, using validated clinical outcome measures to keep your plan safe, effective and individual.
Is exercise safe with cancer or ME/CFS?
It depends on the condition and is always individualised. For cancer, tailored exercise is recommended for medically stable individuals with clearance where appropriate, with fatigue closely monitored. For ME/CFS and post-viral fatigue, the approach is pacing-led and symptom-guided — we work within your energy envelope and avoid triggering post-exertional symptoms rather than pushing through them.
How long does a programme take?
Most programmes run as weekly or twice-weekly supervised sessions over several weeks, followed by a maintenance phase. Long COVID and post-viral / ME/CFS recovery are paced to your symptoms and progressed individually rather than to a fixed timetable.
